Release paper is another important printing auxiliary material. It is usually made of lignin, chemical pulp or a mixture of ingredients, and is covered with a smooth polymer on the surface. This layer of polymer enables the release paper to effectively resist the erosion of water, grease and other external substances. In the process of paper cup printing, release paper is used as a positioning and separation material to help the printing machine obtain the printing position more accurately and maintain the appropriate spacing between each paper cup.
In addition to material selection, paper cup printing also needs to consider factors such as printing process and ink. Flexographic water-based ink is widely used because of its good adhesion and light resistance, heat resistance, and friction resistance. At the same time, the composition of the ink must comply with the Food Sanitation Law and relevant food packaging hygiene standards to ensure the safety of paper cups.
In addition, the temperature and humidity control of the printing environment is also crucial. Excessive humidity may cause the printed product to curl, and excessive temperature may affect the drying effect of the ink and the heat sealing performance of the paper cup.
